Whether you play casually among friends or seriously in clubs and tournaments, you will find bridge fascinating, challenging and enjoyable.
A Lifetime of Enjoyment!
We’ve had several players over the years who played beyond their 100th birthday. Bridge offers social benefits to our players and hones skills in logic, probability, communication, deductive reasoning, psychology, and strategy. The competitive “duplicate” form of bridge focuses on skill and provides feedback on how well you played.
When you join the ACBL you automatically become a member of Unit 124 if you live in the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Unit 124 is known as the Cincinnati Bridge Association (CBA). We have 798 members and 14 bridge clubs. The Unit and clubs follow all local health regulations for safe social contact.
The CBA runs sectional tournaments that draw players from our area, and a regional tournament that attracts players from across the country. The CBA also operates the Cincinnati Bridge Center (CBC), a 5,400-square-foot facility with games 5 days a week and educational offerings 2 - 3 times a week.
We provide beginner classes through the University of Cincinnati’s OLLI program (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute). There are many celebrations, charity events and special games throughout the year.
